Welcome to The Escape Theory! We are excited to have you as a guest. Please take a moment to read our Terms and Conditions, which apply to all bookings and participation in our escape room games. By booking and/or participating in a game, you agree to these terms.

1. General Information

  • Booking Requirements: All bookings must be made in advance through our website or other authorized booking channels. You will receive a booking confirmation email with the details of your scheduled game.
  • Game Duration: Each escape room game is designed to last 60 minutes. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled start time to allow for check-in and briefing.

2. Payment & Fees

  • Non-Refundable Fees: All fees paid for bookings are non-refundable. This includes cancellations, no-shows, and reschedules.
  • Payment Methods: We accept Mastercard, VISA, and PayPal.
  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled game time:
    • You will only have the remaining time to complete the game (e.g., if you are 15 minutes late, you will have 45 minutes left to play).
    • Alternatively, you may choose to move to the next available time slot, subject to availability. Please note that this option is not guaranteed and may require an additional wait time.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling & No-Show

  • No Cancellations or Refunds: Once a booking is made, no cancellations or refunds will be provided under any circumstances.
  • Rescheduling: You may reschedule your game at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time, subject to availability. A rescheduling fee may apply.
  • No-Show Policy: In the event that your group fails to appear for their scheduled game, the group will be charged a penalty of $25. This fee is in addition to the original deposit already paid for the booking.

4. Participant Requirements

  • Age Restrictions: Participants under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Please check the specific age requirements for each game on our website.
  • Behavior: All participants are expected to behave respectfully towards staff and fellow players. Any disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate removal from the premises without refund.
  • Health & Safety: Please ensure that all players are in good health and able to participate in the physical and mental challenges of the game. If you have any concerns, please contact us prior to booking.
  • Alcohol & Drugs: The consumption of alcohol or illegal substances is strictly prohibited before or during participation in any game. Guests under the influence will not be permitted to play.

5. Liability

  • Personal Responsibility: Participants take full responsibility for their own safety and well-being during the game. While we take every precaution to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, we cannot be held responsible for any injury or accident that occurs during participation.
  • Loss or Damage: We are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings while at our facility. We recommend leaving valuable items at home or in your vehicle.

6. Privacy & Data Protection

  • Personal Data: We respect your privacy and will only use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By booking a game, you agree to our collection and use of personal data as outlined in that policy.

7. Photography and Recording

  • Photos & Videos: During your game, you may be photographed or recorded by our staff for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included, please inform us before the start of your game.

8. Changes to Terms & Conditions

  • We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to future bookings.
